Hiccup raised a questioning eyebrow at Hane’s comment, sparing a quick glance at the idiot hanging off his back for a moment before deciding against saying anything about it.
“Huh, yeah, sure we can go right now if you want,” Hiccup offered.
Toothless was eagerly at his side not to long after and the young Viking laughed, “You wanna come too, bud?”
The big, black dragon nodded heartily, stomping his large feet.
“Alright, right this way m’lady,” Hiccup smiled gesturing to the large front door of his house.
“Oh thank you,” Jack jeered from Hiccup’s back, only to receive an elbow in his side.
Once Hiccup managed to push the large door open (no thanks to Jack of course), he began leading the small group down the rugged pathway and into the Village below. It was bustling with dragons and Viking’s a like, busily proceeding about their day.
Most of the burly folk they passed gave Hiccup hearty greetings, and pats on the back. To which Hiccup would rub the back of his neck sheepishly, never having truly been able to deal with his status as a …sort of celebrity.
It wasn’t long before they arrived down at the docks, where the waves were whipping harshly against the wooden pathways, and the ships stationed there. Out passed the docks were the many interestingly shaped rock formations, that almost looked as though they were moving with the way the waves moved up against them.
“Well, here we are,” Hiccup smiled, gesturing around the area. Surprisingly it was a little less bustle-y than higher up.
Toothless had already busied himself in watching the small schools of fish that swam close tot he surface just under the docks. Oh if he was swifter…
And Jack, had grown a little skittish, visibly clutching onto Hiccup tighter at the sight of the overlapping waves. The spirit had never been fond of water for some reason.
Hane floated along next to Hiccup more relaxed. She eagerly looked around the village, gazing at all the buildings and people. The village wasn’t huge. Many of the building looked built sturdy. Among the people there were also a lot of what she guess were dragons. All of them looked much different than Toothless. They were all different colours and sizes. Some were really small and some were huge. She thought about asking Hiccup if you could draw Toothless and some other dragons. Maybe Hane would ask later. When they got to the docks, Hane squealed excitedly and flew over to a plant she hadn’t seen before. She probed at it carefully and felts leaves and stem. “Thank you so much for bringing me here! I love the ocean, too. By the way you looked pretty popular back in town.” she turned her head over her shoulder. “Do something awesome?” she asked.
